MaMaN Says #12 : Great Wedding Gift Ideas :)

You're looking for a special wedding gift, and don't want to simply choose something from the registry(like what i received on my wedding; dinner set, lunch set, tea set, more lunch set, a lot of glasses & mug, blablabla....). You want unique and memorable wedding gift ideas.

Every couple is unique. So here are a few of my personal suggestion to help you find wonderful and unforgettable wedding gift ideas that match the couple perfectly.

Today's weddings are as unique as the people involved. The wedding day is one of the most memorable and special events in a person's life; and the means by which the day is celebrated and executed, are no longer routine. So you'll want to make sure your wedding gift ideas as are tailored to suit the event and the couple.

If you know the theme of the wedding, your shopping time could be cut in half. Simply choose a unique gift, they both will enjoy that concentrates around the theme.

If you don't know the theme of the wedding, think about the couple. What is their couple "identity"? For example, if they take a trip together... Do they go camping, skiing, golfing, to the beach, to the mountains?

Another approach… what's their entertainment style? What do they do in their free time? The concept is to come up with something you know they both love and then choose your gift to match the topic.

If you want your gift to be as memorable as their wedding day, here are two gifts that will do the trick:

1. Buy the bride and groom engraved keepsake boxes to safely place the special items they're sure to accumulate as the day goes by. The boxes will safely and securely protect precious memories of the day they married for years to come. For something very special, as you're choosing the boxes, go beyond the typical keepsake box. Specialize each box to depict the personality of it's owner.

2. Watercolor wedding paintings make a sentimental and unique gift. You give a gift certificate that allows the bride and groom to send in pictures from their wedding day that are used to do a watercolor painting. The couple will have a one of a kind painting of their favorite photo that keeps the memories alive for years to come.

With just a little bit of imagination, your gift could be the best one they received.

MaMaN Say's....# 11 - Deciding To Start Your Own Business ?

What a scary thought! Who would want to make that leap of faith and start their own business? Do you really have the self confidence to do it? Take a deep breath and think about it.

If you are contemplating starting your own business, I know these thoughts are running through your head. They certainly raced through my mind when I was thinking about it. This is a decision that needs thorough thought. Don’t jump into it without thinking.

Have you thought about opening a store? The investment for an “on the street” business is huge. That excludes most of us. A workable alternative is a “work at home” business. The increasing popularity of the internet has really opened up that field. The instability of so many businesses has created a need for many people to work for themselves.

It is very possible to start an “at home business” with very little investment. This allows the “little guy” (you and me) to be self-employed. If you search the web for online businesses, you will find many that do require a large initial outlay of cash. That wasn’t for me. I wanted an opportunity to start with little or no cash output and then I could determine expenditures on advertising and other things. This would allow me to control my budget. Not having a lot to spend, I was aware that it is possible to find free methods of advertising which would require more time than money.

Some people will quit their “day job” and jump into a business. I do not advise this unless you are very financially secure. I continue my full time job, devoting all the hours I can in the evenings and weekends to my new business. This takes a lot of determination! You really need a lot of self confidence to believe that this business will succeed and you will be able to do it full time in the future. You really have to want to change your lifestyle. The thought of being in control of my destiny fuels me. I am determined to succeed.

Work at home businesses are also perfect for part time work. Those of you who just want to supplement your family’s income for vacation money, Christmas money, money to pay the bills would do well with an online business. You can control how much you earn and how much time you spend.

In this day of corporations constantly downsizing, no job is secure. Wouldn’t you rather be the one in charge? Wouldn’t you rather not have a long commute each day? Make the move! Start working for yourself.

MaMaN Say's....# 10 - Year Of The Rat & My Never Ending Rat Race World

HOROSCOPE PERSPECTIVES OF ME ???

HORSE 1990 1978 1966 1954 1942

You are opposite to the governing sign “rat”. You may lose money easily. You may get into accidents or sicknesses. Beware of arguments, controversies, and legal problems. Hence you should take things easy and drive carefully. Your regular income would be fine, just no gambling or speculations.

WORK: Stay at your job. This is not a good year for you to change jobs. However, if your line of work involves travel, you would do well.
WEALTH:

Your regular income is ok. There is not much speculative income. If you gamble, you would lose.

ROMANCE: Your romances are weak. Do not consider marriage this year. Beware of arguments.
HEALTH: Be careful of accidents which may cause bleeding. Pay attention to your heart and blood pressure.
=================================================================

Lose money ???! Weak Romances ???! Heart and Blood Pressure risk ???! Legal Problem ???!

WOW !!! What a hell of year is this???

Well, if you can see, this is not a very good year for me(at least from the Chinese view).... but heck that! Every year is still the same to me. I'm still in the middle of this stupid "rat race" world.

What is the “rat race?”

Here it is : - Every morning, you get up and prepare yourself to go to work - shower, breakfast, get dressed, travel by bus/train or drive your car, work from nine to five, get home to your family and have dinner, watch television or read the papers, then off to bed till the next morning.

You get two to three weeks paid vacation/sick leave each year and occasional overtime work. You get paid by your employer for your services every payday. If you don’t like your job anymore, you find another employer for better pay. Year in, year out, it’s the same routine. You work for somebody else, not for yourself. You focus your efforts in making somebody else richer. That is the “rat race.”

All too often, people are trapped in this race that they never bothered to know where they are headed. They only notice it at times when they run short of cash for unexpected expenses or when they realize what will happen to them when they reach retirement age. And still they forget about it and do nothing to improve their lives.

I need to get out of the “rat race” as early as possible. To achieve this, I need to change my way of thinking - from thoughts of working as an employee for someone else, to thoughts of being in control of my own time and money. This doesn’t mean I will quit my day job right away. I might spend my free time learning and actually implementing moneymaking activities while still working as an employee. Once I am financially secured and have enough knowledge on acquiring wealth, that’s the time to get out of the “rat race” and start enjoying my life.

Hmmmm.....quite a plan huh???...hahahhahh....whatever lah....heheheh :)

The bottom line is this: It is all right to be an employee, but don’t stay as one for long. I’m talking from experience. Better do something about it now.

What do you think my dearest friends ??? Any suggestion for me???

MaMaN Say's....# 9 - FromCherating With Love...the 3rd Honeymoon :p

After hours of driving, and a crazy ride through West Coast Highway, the honeymoon has arrived. We spent the earlier part of today waiting to check into the hotel room. We walked about, had some food, did some beachwalking and were finally able to check in. We've now showered and are about to hit the town once again.

Some things to note:

  • The people here are crazy. They drive on the RIGHT side of the road(especially the motorcyclist).
  • Too many Huge Lorry and Trailer on the road, and they were driving like they left their brain at home.
  • The food are quite expensive.
  • There is no night life unless you go down to Kuantan.
And here's are some of the photos....

MaMaN Say's....# 8 - Do You Remember Those Day???

Hello guys(and ladies :p).....this week are the most hellish week in my whole career life. Piles of workload keep adding up into my 'in tray' and onto my table. No matter how much I've done it, they seems like it's never been touch...WTF!!! Even yesterday(Saturday) I'm working until 10pm and arrive at home at 11.30pm.

Sorry K.Shai....sorry Waliz.....sorry Azra....sorry everybody.... I just couldn't find time to post a new articles. Too tired...too sleepy....too stress!!!

But this morning(2.30am), after reading your message on my chat box, I'll try my best to do my posting. Just for you guys(love all of you)! :)

Yesterday, after having my dinner, I sit in front the TV and having a good 'smokey' time while watching my daughter laughing at Tom & Jerry cartoon on the TV. Suddenly, I came to remember my childhood imagination(about 25 years ago). Those days there were not many TV channel available and the most viewed cartoon(or should I say anime?)were from Japan.

My favorite show that time were a.k.a. 'Masked Rider Black' a.k.a. 'Kamen Rider' (I've called it "Ottomen Lalat"...heheheh) and 'Ultraman'. I've always dream of having the same power and strength like those guy. I've been thinking, maybe if I shocked myself with some electricity or get bitten by some weird looking insect, I might turn out to be like one of them!!!....hehehehhh....and of course, if I had a choice, I will choose to be one of the 'Masked Rider Black'. They look so cool. With cool motorbike, insect like eyes, fancy looking belt and the best of all; "The Super Strength To Kick My Elder Brother Ass!!" hahahahhhh.....

There's a lot more of my childhood imagination that I would love to share with all of you. As time passing by, and I'm grew older, my adoration turn to a new character. I will tell you my imagination of being a Macgyver and the funny stories behind that happened because of it in my next post. So, while I'm into it, why don't you share with me your very own childhood imagination??!! :p

MaMaN Says....# 7 - I Hate Insurance !!!....but....

I hate insurance! And my hatred to those who sells Insurance were 10 times more!! They were so annoying!!! They will pestling, bugging and used that "scary movie-type" storyline(what happen to your children if you die?,What if you met an accident and lose your leg? and bla...bla..bla...) until you bought their plans.

But even I say so, I have insurance for my home, insurance for my car, insurance for my life(Cash Back Life Insurance), insurance for my kids(Life Family Plan Insurance), insurance for my health, insurance for my teeth, insurance for my prescriptions, insurance for my bank loans, insurance for when I travel....and the entries goes on.

Wow! It's a wonder, I don't have insurance for my insurance. Don't laugh, I'm sure I heard somewhere that there is an insurance company that insures other insurance companies. Someone must be making a killing off of all this. The only insurance I don't have these days, is pet insurance. Only because we don't have a pet, and the kids are lobbying hard on that front.

Insurance can be boring as well as confusing, but it is important that you get the basics right so that you don't get caught out. When you are looking at which types of insurance you need, it is easy to overlook some things that you need insuring. If you can afford to insure something or be protected against something then it pays to do so. You usually need more insurance than you think, both in terms of types of insurance and levels of cover.

Don't pay too much
Although insurance is necessary, you don't want to pay too much for it, you must Lower Your Insurance Premium. Insurance is only worth it at the right price. Paying too much for insurance will outweigh the advantages that it gives you. Always shop around for your Insurance Plans Pros and Cons, and consult independent financial advice if you are unsure about which insurance package is right for you.

Look online
If you want information about insurance terms, prices, or lenders then the best place to look is online. Some of the best insurance deals can be had online, and using one website to compare prices is much more convenient than walking round your high street talking to different lenders. If you want to save time then look online for your insurance first. And you might also consider on Online Insurance Policy.

What insurance do you need?
Obviously the type and amount of insurance you need really depends on your lifestyle and individual needs. However, there are a number of types of insurance that most people should have or at least consider having. These include:

  • Life insurance
  • Vehicle insurance
  • Property insurance
  • Liability insurance
  • Travel insurance
  • Medical insurance

Obviously there are many other types of insurance, and if you have something that you want to protect then you will probably be able to get insurance for it.

Is insurance worth it?
Many people think that insurance is a waste of time because it costs them money and they never claim. This is a good thing, because you really don't want to have to claim on your insurance. Good insurance is essential, because it protects the things that we value most. If anything should happen to these items then we know we will be compensated for it or be able to replace it.

Insurance to avoid
As well as good insurance there are plenty of types of insurance that you should avoid. Never pay too much for your insurance or more than you think it is worth, because this defeats the point of the insurance policy. Also, don't sign anything that has strict limits on what you can claim for, making the policy almost worthless. Try and get a good level of cover at the right price, and before agreeing to anything check that the lender is reputable and that if you need to claim they will be able to compensate you.

What Is My Deepest Fear?
We all want guarantees, we all want to know everything is going to be alright. We hope that things remain status quo, and their are no major disruptions in our lives. That's what insurance buys. Peace of mind. Protection from the unknown. At the same time we can Save Money on Insurance. Salvation from disaster. And when it works, that's great. Insurance is kind of a socialist sort of thing. Everybody chips in a little bit to protect the unfortunate. And that's good. I do feel better, if I think of my insurance premiums saving someone else from a life altering disaster. And the optimist in me believes that is what truly happens most of the time. It's when insurance companies refuse to pay out for people that really need it, that irks me the most. Especially when it's done just to line the pockets of shareholders and greedy CEO's. That's really not what insurance is for. So, be smart with your insurance purchases, and remember, we're all in this together.

MaMaN Says....# 6.5 - Beauty Can Be TORTURE :(

...from my previous POST :)

The facial began with thorough cleansing massage and a potent purifying yeast-based mask to loosen pores and help rid the blackheads, coupled with a lot of squeezing. As long as the electricity kicked in, I got nervous. Raju doused two sponges in water and inserted them into the electrical discs used to massage my skin. Imagining a man in the electric chair with a wet sponged slapped on top of his head(did you watch the movie "Greenmile"?Yeah just like that...), I felt the first tickle. "This isn't so bad," I thought.

Then, the intensity kicked up as the current was worked over my freshly scraped beard. The sensation, like tiny electrically charged pins, danced harshly over my skin. To make matters worse, as she moved up my face and onto my forehead, I felt a wave of dull pain that I can only compare to a migraine.

As Raju "remodelled" my tired skin, I tasted metal. When I question it, he calmly said,"Other people have asked that question too"-which wasn't comforting. He changed the subject and told me dramatic stories of women who begged to have their slacking skin remodelled like piece of old clay. As promised, my skin did appear firmer and more youthful (at least for the hour), but I was left with one aching question; Is shock therapy the wave of the future???

MaMaN Says....# 6 - Beauty Can Be TORTURE :(

In my quest for an improved appearance, I've been slapped, wrapped, pummeled and pinched. I've come to realize that a round of result-oriented rejuvenation can often come in the form of meat-tenderizing strokes and compromising positions. I have walked down a questionable path of pleasure versus pain. After spending almost one weeks in a beach resort, my beard rivaled a forest of dark, coarse twigs. Some men look rugged with a beard. I look dirty!!!

So, to combat that look, I went over to Indian Barbershop my father used to go. When I got there, I was a little nervous - putting my face in the hands of stranger with a sharp blade seemed a little risky, but, I thought,"These are professionals". Then appeared Raju, a grey-haired barber who could have easily been my grandfather. The math echoed in my mind: Sharp blade + Old man = Missing nostrils.

The "shave" started with a hot towel application and a lemony Pre-Shave Oil massage to soften my beard. Shaving cream was applied with a sterilized badger brush. SCRAPE, SCRATCH, BURN - I felt like a charred piece of toast and my face, the crumbs being scraped onto the ground. After three rounds of shaving, my face was mummified with a hot towel while the barber mixed up a "calming" After-Shave Mask.

Just as I felt like the mixture made my raw skin feel like an open sore in salt water, Raju wiped off the concoction and slapped on a jasmin-scented cold towel. Steam surfaced from my skin, but the results were good: My face was smooth and ready for show!!! :).

Pleased, I signed up for the Anti-Wrinkle Remodelling Facial. Knowing electricity would be involved,I was a bit nervous."Ini karen, mau kasi itu kulit tegang jugak la macha," Raju said.

To be continued....(sorry,I'm too tired to finish it up :p)

MaMaN Says....# 5 - We Have PERIOD Too, You Know !!!

I am not feeling good when I wake-up yesterday morning(Saturday). My body seems not to work very well with my mind. Every movement I've made seems like very painful. My stomach boiling, my head spinning, all my joint were in pain and skin burning. I know there is something not right happen to me but I don't know what it is. Anger slipped into my mind and thus make me not in the mood to do anything today.

I've planned to go to the office and finished a mountain pile workload in the morning and I've already promised my sister to come over her house to help her out with lunch afterwards; but I just don't have mood to execute that action.

Then I've open my notebook computer and do some surfing where then I've found some interesting fact on my condition. It says that some researchers in Edinburgh,Scotland, have found that MEN suffer from "irritable male syndrome", not unlike PMS. Their findings prove that fluctuations in hormones determine men's and women's mood in similar ways.

And, just as women ever-changing estrogen levels explain those seven to ten days of PURE EVIL before women PERIOD, a slip in TESTOSTERONE levels can leave MEN feeling bad-tempered,emotional or depressed.

The only difference is that women hormonal state moves in cycles, while men is triggered by periodic circumstances such as injury, serious illness or stress.

No wonder I am bad mood today;I got PERIOD too!!!. So, it's quite feasible that soon I'll be demanding chocolate and a foot rub,"because of my hormones, baby":p

MaMaN Says....# 4 - Work Me Women !!!

Does She Make a Better Boss? Yes please!

“Oh yes, she definitely does.” Amusement and abject disbelief consumed my fellow Shah the last time I validated my penchant for women bosses.

“Hah! That’s a good one,” they joked, “that’s like saying ‘of course not’ every time the woman asks if she’s fat… it’s just something you have to say to her face.”
“I’m not kidding… I love women bosses.”
The laughter died down and grave concern clouded the once happy Hard Rock Cafe atmosphere.

“Are you ok?”
“Did you just get promoted?”
“Wait a minute… is she really hot?”
The confusion came fast and furious. None of my idiot friends seemed to get it. The truth was, it didn’t matter if my boss were a promotion junkie or hot as hell. As long as she’s a woman, it would definitely work in my favor.

Forget the stereotypical image of women bosses being emotional, erratic and wishy-washy. If played right, a woman boss could be the best thing to happen to your career. That’s right, it’s all about feeling her out, and I’m not talking about copping a feel – no matter how hot she is.

My first ever boss(while I'm with PNBit Sdn Bhd), was a woman that could to do no wrong. A high ranking officer, she called the shots with absolute authority. When she spoke, everyone listened. Her directions were clear, concise and above all, filled with empathy and kindness. That, compounded with her motherly instincts became the benchmark for all other bosses I’ve had to work for.

Then there was my first Project Manager. Ultra-pregnant, soft-spoken but filled with enough grit and determination to put together a current project on schedule. This woman juggled her dual role of expectant-mother-and-boss with the dexterity of a double-jointed Chinese acrobat on steroids.

And who could forget my first Procurement Manager. Tough-as-nails, with ideas spilling out of her pants pockets and blessed with a metabolic rate that could shame a tri-athlete, she hung in there with the big boys and brought them to their knees. Hell, she even mastered the all-powerful ‘re-write this report you male-scum’ index finger command. No words, just a gesture.....haahahhah

And last but not least.....my present(in OTIS Elevator) Supervisor. A women with great energy level(it's might comes from her magnetic bracelet :p), a women with multi-tasking ability(some says she's represent the Goddess Guan-Yin :p), and a very sharp eyes for details(always find error in my generated PO's). Hmmmmpphh.....but she had something inside her eyes; I'm not sure what it is, but it's contained some telepathic power or some sort of 'aura' to make me feel........................duhhhh..............so comfortable .............like home.

Maybe I’ve just been really lucky, but four women besting a multitude of men has got to stand for something. Until the next best (male) player comes along, I’d much rather a woman - whip me into action :)

MaMaN Says....# 3 - Eat To Live or Live To Eat???

For some, food is a bigger issue than it needs to be....:p

Keeping an eye on your weight and health is something everyone should do but make sure you’re doing it right. Everyone’s got hang-ups with their bodies and even supermodels are not 100 percent happy with what they’ve got… but that’s just human nature.

‘My thighs are huge, my tummy’s so round & "kedepan"(it's me!!!...arrgghhh!!!), my arms are so fat, etc’ are just some of the more common complaints. And least you think it’s just a problem with women, men are just as susceptible to insecurities regarding their bodies.

Sometimes these insecurities are taken to another level though and these negative body images can turn into something dangerous. People who are unhappy, be it with their physical appearance or emotionally distraught, sometimes turn to or away from food. While some seek solace in food, some others spurn it. Skipping a few meals once in a while may sound harmless enough but in the long run could endanger your health.

Eating disorders are a real danger to one’s health. Anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating have caused the deaths of many but scarily enough, many people still suffer from these diseases. Well, as for me, I've stay "happily" in the hospital 3 days and 2 night(it's fun though, because the nurse was so pretty :p) for appendicitis(still don't figure out whether this has something to do with my "junkie-food" habit) .

Sure, we envy celebrities (for instance; I envy to Arnold "susah-nak-eja" figure...heheheh) with their perfect figures but what we fail to remember is that the flawless images we see in the glossies are "touched up". Look at the pictures that the tabloids publish of celebrities who are caught unaware; they look as normal as the rest of us.

Some people eat when they’re stressed or unhappy. If that bowl of ice cream lifts up your spirit then go ahead but don’t polish off a Starbuck mug, followed by a sleeve of cookies, and then a plate of rice. In the long run, being fat isn’t going to make you ecstatic(just learned the word today :p).

So before you start thinking that starving yourself is the road to the land of the beautiful or stuffing your face is the way to deal with your emotional problems, think again. Getting together with friends over your favorite meal is certainly enjoyable but if you start obsessing over food, then you’re in trouble.....

But to say....who want to have a "roti canai" + "teh tarik" with me this weekend??? :)

MaMaN Says....# 2 - Live to Work or Work to Live?

Back in primary school, when my teacher asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” The following assortment of answers followed:

“Fireman”
“Policeman”
“Army”
And my personal favourite, “Ustazah”(ustazah=female religous teacher)....hehehehhh

The funny thing is, no one at the time said;

“Millionaire”
“Real estate tycoon”
“Businessman”
“Politician”
Or even, “Singer”-Malaysian Idol???Akademi Fantasia???....hahahah

In a strange twist of ideals, the firemen and policemen wannabes eventually wanted to be millionaires and tycoons by the time they were in their late teens. So it seems materialism develop late and stays for at least a few decades. Then curiously another twist in idealism happens. Of late, my cohort of army and ustazah wannabes who have solid careers in law and banking have turned away from their so called calling once more. One successful maritime lawyer friend suddenly switched to filmmaking. From seriously raking in money, he switched to being poor, but extremely satisfied. When I asked him why he said, “I was on a ship and while walking off it I almost fell to my death. It was a wake up call. I immediately took stock of what I had and what I really wanted in life. I wanted to make movies.”

Then there is the curious case of the banker who became a baker. With a client list that full of ‘money-names’ she abandoned her money-making job and started baking cookies for pennies. All of us were shocked. Here were the rest of us struggling to make what she does and she callously throws it all and with reckless abandon, starts baking because, “It makes me happy.”

So it all boils down to happiness. If you’re doing something that truly irks you, it doesn’t matter how much you make… or does it? A million bucks to clean public toilets - Some people might gladly do it(well yeah....me too..count me in please!..hehehehh).

After five jobs in the past six years, I have set a certain level of tolerance in the jobs that I do. Right now, it's more on survival "thing" than what I really love & wanted to do. I got to "pause" my dream for a while and waiting the right time to rise again. For the time being, nowadays, as soon as I wake up and dread the thought of doing what I’m supposed to for the set amount of money… I know it’s time to go.

So what’s your dream job? Or more importantly, are you ready to pursue it?

MaMaN Says....# 1.1 -Let's Talk About LOVE (or LUST)....concluded!!!

Greeting Readers,

It's been a while since my last POST. I'll apologies if my late POST makes you MAD at me (well....did you???...hehehhehh).I am trying my best to steal some times and space to resume my writing 'JOB' here....so, let's us continue.

The word "I LOVE YOU" seems to be the most popular word around the world. Sound simple but yet, not ALL MEN find it easy to say those three little words. We (the MAN) are laying our self open to rejection and some MEN are wary about that(including me...hahaahhahh).

For me the usual period for infatuation is three months. Then it's two years of staying very much monogamous. That should be enough to produce children, after which the focus changes altogether, towards the children. However, it might be different for those using contraception. After two years when there aren't children around, things can peter out and become rather boring (just from my personal point of view).

The girl that I mention earlier(my first love), now became my WIFE for about 4 years. To tell you the truth; I'VE NO IDEA WHAT MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH HER, BESIDE HER STUNNING LOOKS; IT'S SUCH A COMPLICATED PROCESS.

But I admit, we were like CAT and DOG. Both of us had a very serious issue of EGOISTIC, JEALOUSY and BAD TEMPER. We always fought for some tiny little matter and that was what split us up. About Three years later, we accidentally met again at the same place of our very first date. COINCIDENCE???...hahahhahahh you bet!!!

Inevitably, when a MAN who's invested time and emotion in a relationship finds that it's fallen apart, especially when it seems to be no fault of his own, there's more than just PRIDE at stake. Because MEN fall in love so rarely they're left questioning their motives and ideals.

Nowadays I am becoming a bit CYNICAL about LOVE; "I'M NOT SURE WHAT 'I LOVE YOU' MEANS," for me, you need a lot of self-respect to say that, or it just becomes words. You FALL IN and OUT of LOVE during a relationship anyway.

For me, WOMEN are probably better at it than MEN. But there's no all-purpose formula. SHE must understand HIS psychology and motivations, and adapt HERSELF in a way that PUSHES THE RIGHT BUTTON in HIM. To get HIM to FALL IN LOVE (as opposed to lust) requires a far more profound understanding and a different sort of talent- SHE HAS TO GET UNDER HIS SKIN!!!.
But recently I discover an alternative METHOD. There is one senior lecturer in psychology at one hospital in London (sorry, I can't remember the name), suggest that when MAN is in love,"THE EMOTIONS OF LOVE FEED THE HYPOTHALAMUS OF THE BRAIN, DRIVING THE PITUITARY GLAND TO RELEASE HORMONES. THESE HORMONES STIMULATE HIS TESTES TO RELEASE SEX HORMONES".

Basically, A MAN'S BRAIN IS LINKED TO HIS BALLS, WHICH IS WHAT WE SUSPECTED ALL ALONG. More interestingly, one of the chemicals produced by the brain when you FALL IN LOVE is PHENYLETHYLAMINE - the same chemical that's in chocolate.

MaMaN Says....# 1 -Let's Talk About LOVE (or LUST) :D

I've only fall in LOVE once, at 16(wahhh...so young meh???...hahahah). I did the poetry and the flowers. I've smiled to everybody the whole day and even sung along to Elvis Presley :p. I've ached to telephoned her using public 'coin' phone(I'm not scared, just a little bit shy to my parents...heheheh)10 minutes after we parted.

Men may be renowned for hiding their emotions, but when we're in LOVE, our macho street credibility dies. No behavior is too embarrassing for the lovelorn male. Although at the time it all felt wonderful and I told myself it was LOVE, looking back, I can see I was kidding myself.

You might find the perfect girl when you're 17, but you're unlikely to be ready to fall in LOVE. At 20++(after you graduated from college/university and start your career),your feelings will be more powerful because you're ready. It's almost environmental: your friends are pairing off, you're bored in your relationship or you're worried about getting old. At that point, if a woman enters your life who's the right mix of ingredients, chances are; YOU'LL FALL IN LOVE !!! kapusshhh!.....just like that...hehehhehh....and you'll start losing yourself and in worst case scenarios; you'll start spending a LOT of your hard-earn money on HER!

In almost every case, it's about SEX at the start. When you're talking about that euphoric sensation of falling in LOVE, falling in LUST would be more appropriate. But it's very difficult, for both men and women, to differentiate between an infatuation caused by physical attraction and something that has more to it. Some of my friends said,"It has nothing to do with it(sex)...period!". "When you falling in LOVE, sex become LESS IMPORTANT," he insist.

Well, for me, it's depend on what is your objective in that particular relationship. If you're looking for someone to get married, then maybe it's not about SEX. But if you don't have any objective or you just accidently bumped into some girls, then you might think about having some fun(SEX) rather than a relationship that is destined for longevity.
